The current market is bouncing back from a prolonged period of dormancy. While there’s a notable increase in listings, I’m also observing more buyers expressing concerns about potential pricing trends and starting to make offers.
Some properties are lingering on the market while others are attracting multiple offers, resulting in transactions occurring at reasonable prices. However, lowball offers may not be as effective in today’s market compared to several months ago.
In comparison to the first half of last year, the market still favors buyers. For clients considering an upgrade (buying and selling simultaneously), it’s worth noting that you don’t necessarily have to sell in a hot market, as it can be challenging to buy at the same time.
